How it works
From signing up to meeting, every step is in the app, and nobody sees your number.
Get verified
Sign up with your mobile number, then record a 5-second video saying the code on screen. Our team checks it against your photo.
Post a plan, or find one
Choose what, where and when: 1 to 3 hours, in a public place, with 1 to 5 guests. Or browse what's happening near you.
Ask to join
The host sees your profile, rating and reliability before accepting, and you can see theirs before you ask.
Chat and meet
Once you're accepted, the group chat opens. Meet at the place, and use SOS if anything feels wrong.
Rate each other
Ratings appear only after both of you rate. The chat is deleted for everyone when the activity ends.
Safety is part of every step
Accompany is for people 18 and over. These protections are built into the app, not left to chance.

Everyone is verified
A short video with a spoken code, checked by a person against the profile photo. The video is deleted within 15 days.

Public places only
Plans happen in busy public places. A home, flat, PG or hostel room is refused.

You choose who joins
Hosts accept each guest, and can make a plan women only or men only, or set an age range.

SOS when you need it
Call 112, send your emergency contact a live location link, or leave the activity safely. Leaving this way never lowers your rating.

Your number stays private
You chat inside the app, and the chat is deleted for everyone when the activity ends.

Reliability you can see
Ratings and late cancellations show on profiles, so you know who turns up.

Report or block anyone
Reports go to our team, and the person is never told who reported them.
Questions
Is Accompany a dating app?
No. Accompany is for sharing an activity, like a coffee, a walk or a game, in a public place and often in a small group.
Who can join?
Anyone 18 or older with an Indian mobile number. You can look around straight away. To post a plan or ask to join one, get verified first.
Where can I use it?
Bengaluru first. If you live somewhere else, join the waitlist in the app and we'll message you once when your city opens.
What does it cost?
Accompany is free to use.
How does verification work?
You record a 5-second video saying a 4-digit code shown on screen. A person on our team checks it against your profile photo. Only our team sees the video, and it's deleted within 15 days of the decision.
What happens to my chats?
Each activity has its own group chat, which is deleted for everyone when the activity ends. If someone attaches messages to a safety report, only our safety team sees them, and they're deleted after 30 days.
Can I use it on an iPhone?
